Discover the joy these Siberian huskies bring with Siber Sled Dogs and Umiak's Sled Dog Meet and Greet where you can interact, pet and take photos with these adorable pups. The first 30 minutes are dedicated to building a genuine connection with the dogs. The musher shares her inspiring personal journey, using her book to tell stories and share fascinating facts about life with sled dogs - making it feel like you already know these incredible animals. You'll learn about how she started, what it takes to care for and train sled dogs, and discover the unique personalities and behaviors that make each sled dog special.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Presentation and educational information about Siberian Huskies, and art of dog sledding. Guests can meet and pet the dogs, as well as take pictures with them. A ride is not included.

WHAT TO BRING

Weather Appropriate Clothing:

Face Mask
Base Layer: (Warmth & Moisture Control): Long underwear wicks sweat off your skin.
Mid layer: (Insulation): Middle later retains body heat to protect you from the cold.
Outer Layer: (Weather & Wind Protection) Winter ski jacket and snow pants as a shield from elements.
Hats, gloves or mittens and a neck gaiter or scarf
Fresh Pair of Wool or polypropylene socks
Insulated footwear/winter boots

POLICIES

Cancellation Policy: For non-holiday programs, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the tour for a refund. For holiday or custom programs, cancellations require at least 7 days' notice to qualify for a refund. Cancellations made within these time frames are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Weather Policy: Full refunds will be issued if the tour is canceled due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances. Umiak reserves the right to cancel, postpone, delay or change the tour location for safety reasons.

Gratuity Policy: An automatic 18% gratuity will be added to all bookings for groups of six or more participants.
