WHAT IS A...
Kayak: A kayak is a narrow watercraft that is propelled by a double-bladed paddle, usually with a covered deck.
Canoe: A canoe is a open-top boat that is usually paddled with a single-bladed paddle, where paddlers sit or kneel.
Standup Paddleboard (SUP): A standup paddleboard is a buoyant board that is stood upon while using a long single-bladed paddle.
POLICIES
Cancellation Policy: For non-holiday programs, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the tour for a refund. For holiday or custom programs, cancellations require at least 7 days' notice to qualify for a refund. Cancellations made within these time frames are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Weather Policy: Tours run rain or shine. Full refunds will be issued if the tour is canceled due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances. Umiak reserves the right to cancel, postpone, delay or change the tour location for safety reasons.
Gratuity Policy: An automatic 18% gratuity will be added to all bookings for groups of six or more participants.
