Umiak Outdoor Outfitters is seeking a store assistant manager to join their team at their Stowe, VT location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong organizational skill set along with extensive knowledge of the outdoor products the store offers. The candidate must have a good understanding of the retail operation and be able to deliver excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately

• Required to gain an extensive knowledge of Umiak products, activities, and the surrounding area

• Provide sales floor coverage

• Manage daily operations

• Make transactions on a point-of-sale system

• Manage inventory

• Educate customers on products, brands, and accessories

• Help customers find the appropriate equipment for their needs

• Stock and inventory merchandise

• Crafting unique merchandise displays

• Purchase and receive of products

• Attend buying shows and demos

• Key Holder

• Participate in all retail employee training

• Play a part in training retail sales associates
