The new Rottefella Xplore binding system stands out by offering features that enhance performance, comfort, and safety. They merge functionality with modern design. One standout feature of the bindings is their enhanced stability. The bindings create a secure connection between the boot and ski, leading to improved control during turns and descents. The laterally stiff boot soles transmit control to the skis better than other backcountry bindings without sacrificing the natural roll of your foot walking forward.

The step-in Xplore bindings' design allows for the flex you want in the terrain you are skiing. The rubber toe piece of the binding is replaceable on the mountain. The hard rubber transmits more force to the ski for better downhill control. There is a regular rubber for all-terrain, up and down conditions. The flat insert makes the binding float off the toe like an AT binding, providing no resistance for those long uphill climbs.

Xplore bindings are constructed from lightweight, durable materials. They weigh just under 1 pound (approximately 450 grams) each, making uphill treks easier. Umiak has experienced that you can ski longer before that increasing feeling of fatigue sends you home.
