Job description
Umiak Outdoor Outfitters is excited to hire a Retail/Program Associate for our seasonal store in Richmond to support our vibrant program and retail department. This full-time seasonal position involves assisting in the management of river programming and summer boat rentals as well as providing exceptional customer service in the retail store.
Job Responsibilities:
Use a point-of-sale system to make reservations/transactions
Assist in educating customers on products, brands, and accessories
Run tubing shuttles on the Winooski River
Maintain company vehicles/rental equipment
Rent boats and educate/aid customers on proper use and transportation
Educate customers on opportunities around them in regard to boating/tubing in the area
Work Hours & Benefits This position is 9-6 but varies on the time of year and holidays. This is a full-time seasonal position.

Staff Requirements / Skills:
ACA Certification (Can be trained through Umiak course.)
First Aid/CPR
Must be able to lift 70lbs overhead
Clean driving record

Works well under pressure
Trailer/large vehicle experience is welcome but not needed
