It's a "Chili" Evening
Snowshoe Tour
There is something about the quiet of a winter night, the crisp of the cold air whispering through the pines, and the warmth of good food and friends. Come explore the backwoods of Vermont with an interpretive snowshoe guide. Whether you are new to snowshoes or your first time, we will guide you by headlamp or moonlight through the winter woods. When the adventure comes to an end, you'll find a teepee lighting up the sky! Warm up by the fire and enjoy a hot chili supper with a delicious browned butter cornbread provided by the Featherbed Inn inside of our Teepee on this historical tour.
About The Featherbed Inn
Just on the edge of the lively little town of Waitsfield, Vermont in the Mad River Valley, the Featherbed Inn is a bed and breakfast that sits on 20 acres of land, with 800 acres of forest and meadow, and miles and miles of a maintained mountain bike and snowshoe trails a few steps from the front door.
This 1806 farmhouse is the second oldest building in Waitsfield, and in the 1950s became one of the first B&Bs to welcome skiers from the newly opened Mad River Glen.
