- Take Rte 100 South approximately 8.8 miles to the T-intersection of Rte 2 (just PAST the on-ramp to Rte 89).
- Turn right onto Rte 2 West.
- Drive 1.9 miles on Rte 2 West past the "Cider House" restaurant on your left.
- Turn left onto the second dirt road AFTER the Cider House.
- Follow the dirt road into the field
- The Umiak outpost building is at the river's edge.
