This is a great first step in learning how to get the most out of your stand up paddleboard (SUP). The class is taught using SUP's that offer the stability beginning paddlers need to be successful. You will learn about carrying, launching, basic strokes, balance and maneuvers. Jump start your paddling with one of Umiak's ACA certified instructors.

If you rent a SUP and decide to buy, one rental price will be deducted from your purchase. Umiak has the largest showroom of Vermont stand up paddle boards, so come in and test our inventory of SUP's from Tahoe, NRS, Surf Tech, Bic, and Ocean Kayak.
